You challenged my statement that the NCAA looked at the entire program. The article clearly says they did, and the violations clearly show they did.
Whether or not MC talking would have changed things is irrelevant. He didn't talk, and no findings related to him were found. Even if he had talked MORE than his accusations, it would have taken corroborating evidence to prove the infractions occurred.
That never happened, even though the NY Times, ESPN and the Dispatch, among other media, all tried desperately to find some kind of evidence that would back him up. Now if all those media folks looked that hard, and the NCAA was going through the entire sports program, I find it very hard to believe something could be covered up that well.
As far as MC is concerned, the man is a sociopath and chronic liar, and I believe the results of all those investigations prove that.
