Guy on the news last night made a good point about the 18-22 year old generation. More than half our lives has been dealing with 9/11 and everything that has come after that day. We want this war and Al-Queda to end just as much as anyone. Think about it..more than half of my life, we have been trying to find and kill Bin Laden...and here it finally happened. Why not celebrate it? Celebrate America. Celebrate some good news in an otherwise bad news world.

College students today have mostly lived in a world where people fear radical Islam. These kids have lived in a world with all of the TSA checks and the double take whenever you see someone of Middle Eastern decent.
I'm not saying that it's more significant to them, but their lives have been wrapped around this entire thing more than people who are a little older.

I remember being in high school when September 11th took place, and it certainly brings closure to it a little bit. Naturally, the death of OBL doesn't mean the death of terrorism, but it does feel good for the good guys to win one.

When I first heard this @ 2248 last night...I knew it was the Navy SEALs and the team most likely involved would be DEVGRU. I woulda placed my life savings on it.
Other than the blackhawk going down with apparently no casulties........it seemed to go as smooth as could be.
I have gone out partying with SEALs before and after deployments......and they know how to let loose...and I bet when those chosen few get the chance they will party like they have never before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure it matters. People who don't believe will find a reason not to, and people who do don't need any more reason to. In the end, it may just piss off the people who were already going to be pissed off even more.
