I think that most people believe they deserve recognition. It just isn't practical or feasible for the news networks to cover every death. That doesn't mean that the soldiers shouldn't be honored and recognized for their service and sacrifice.

At this point, I couldn't ignore the guy. I butted in reminding him that fault #1 was the fact that the census actually happened every ten years. No way, he wasn't buying. He said it happened three years ago. Okay, I said, so it happened in 2008? So what were the wars following this pattern? What wars broke out in 2008? 1996? 1984? 1978? 1972? 1966? 1960?
He started rambling on about the Japanese attacking Hawaii, WWI, the Korean War -- all happening in the 1940s! Well he was 1/3 correct at least. I reminded him the Korean War was the 1950s, and WWI was 1914, and technically WWII was 1939 -- America didn't join until years later. It's amazing how gullible retards are. We ended up going to sit elsewhere. He literally told me he hoped I got drafted so I could witness the horrors he did. Good thing I already have a bad heart valve disqualifying me.

Awaiting more details...talked to lil brother yesterday(crew chief on Marine Corps C-130) at about 11:30 PM Kandahar time. He said they were taking off in 3 hours and heading to Pakistan to escort(refuel) Ospreys to the ship. He then said they were transporting someone of high importance but thats all he knew. I've been checking skype and facebook since about 4am waiting for him to pop up...not that it matters, because the POS is dead, but would think it would be pretty cool for him to be apart of the funeral procession.
