Take a look at this TSA video. Ignoring the intrusive patdown, which I've made my feelings on clear before, notice the woman to the right of the video getting her arm cast x-rayed. The stupid TSA agent is just standing there without any protection at all, the woman is just blindly standing there without a care in the world. Not to mention all those people standing around the machine get dosed time after time.

I know the TSA "claim" that their new machines are low dose, but you can't tell me that something that penetrates a cast isn't a high dose xray. Would anyone on here go to the doctor or dentist and get an xray from someone without any training and not being a licensed radiographer? Ever notice how the dentist drapes that huge shield over you and hightails it back behind a very thick wall? What kind of morons (rhetorical) are the TSA employing?

Rhetorical #2: Why does the government license and regulate medical xrays, but anyone with a 1-2 week, if that, training "seminar" can xray people at an airport?
