Classic AC shoulder separation hit to the top/outer portion of the shoulder.

If there isn't a tear in the ligament(s) they may be able to "shoot him up" and come back to play.

If I had to guess I would say McCoy's injury is a collar bone injury. Did you see him reach up and hold the collar of his shoulder pads on his way to the locker room?

IYAM, Texas might as well start using some kind of "wildcat" (hate that term) packages with an athlete receiving the center snap and running zone reads, etc. if they have have those packages in because it doesn't like they're going to be doing much throwing. Interestingly, Jim Tressel always talks about how important it is to avoid getting a QB injured...hence why he even doesn't use TP's legs more.
