I'm sure he didn't mean to. He just looks rusty. Hasn't seen game action and in a non save situation it can be hard for closers to get amped up. He will get out of this and be fine.

Masterson didn't get his 5th win last season until something like August 26th...5-0 right now. 8 in a row at home. Feels good to stop the skid and hopefully start a new streak.

Not sure what the crowd was like tonight, but from the sounds of it on tv it seemed like the crowd was into the game all night!

No shit! How many great plays has he made against us, not to mention his hitting.

I hope so. It really annoys me when they have them 0-2 or we have the lead and they start to nibble.

In a serious note about Underwood, I watch games all over MLB and he is without a doubt one of the worst play-by-play guys in baseball. Everytime I turn a different game on, I say to myself..this guy is better than Underwood. Manning isn't terrible..middle of the pack I would say.

9600 at the Prog tonite....seemed like the game was a lot closer than 9-4. I'm not sure what to make of Perez not being able to ge the Royals out quietly....those guys just seem a little to confident against him. I will be curious to see how this plays out the rest of the series.

Great overall game by the Tribe. The offense looked great and hopefully they're out of the little funk they had.. Choo looks like he may be getting hot, and if he does, this offense takes it up to a different level.
Grady has been ridiculous since his return. This is the Grady that we saw before he got hurt. This is the 30/30 Grady.
I relly do wish they would move Al into the broadcast booth. I can't stand Underwood. I do like Rick because he's informative, knows the game, and usually brings good color to the booth.

A win versus the second place team, while in first, will always bring a HUGE smile to my face. Tonight is no different. Great win by the Tribe!

Loooooove what the Tribe is getting out of Pestano right now. Although mostly solid to this point, the bullpen needs a solid right hander in one of those set-up roles. Don't really trust Smith in that role so the way Pestano has stepped up has been a very nice surprise. Gives the team a little more flexibility if the other team is able to throw a bunch of right handers out there to combat Sipp and R Perez.

Yeah, it does look like he's been hitting the tanning bed lately.

Right now, Masterson is the ace/#1 on this staff. Thank God for him because that's the 4th time he's stopped the bleeding (losing streak). Nice win with the long ball last night.

Masterson is the ace right now. He has been amazing. Tomlin goes tonight and he has been almost as good. He should be 4-0.
And how about Grady...8 games played, 6 doubles, 3 HR and 7 RBI hitting 406. This is the Grady that became one of the best players in baseball.

Good win for the tribe, good to see them get the bats out. Something has to happen with Santana, send him down to the Minors and let him get right, but we can't have a guy hitting in the four hole hitting into double plays all day. He needs to take shorter swings and get right quick.

I don't think Al is the answer, but he is a slight upgrade over Underwood.
