As far as the elevator, didn't the kid try and jump out of the elevator because he was drunk and tried to hurry up and get off? IF so, that is not the universities fault, that's some kid being a fucking idiot. If I am wrong, then so be it but that's how I am remembering it happening which would completely nullify that point ewok.

You are right that it will not change what happened, but there were still people responsible for this. I don't understand how anyone can be ok with allowing the University to skirt responsibility by the President just saying "yeah, my bad"?

Accidents happen. Other universities have had accidents take the lives of their students where there is some liability from university employees who were negligent in some form or other.

Oh yea, and at least ND said my bad, instead of blaming the dead kid....like some others we could mention.

In the context that he mentioned it....as in a school killing a kid......it's not that different. What happened at OSU was in all likelihood a preventable death even if it wasn't work related. That's why I was responding to HIM that way.
