As for .500 in at the end of April, Wedgie (06) 13-12, (07) 14-8, (08) just missed at 13-15. Charlie in his 3 years (2000) 13-8, (01) 14-9, and (02) 13-13 after starting out 11-1 they went 2-12 for the rest of the month and finished 74-88 that season. I guess the Phillies didn't care how he talked if he could start them out good.
