They're just waiting for game four to start caring and turn it on!

Seriously, I didn't expect them to nearly be eliminated after four games against Dallas. Mavs have impressed me more than they EVER have and look like an actual contender instead of a pretender destined to crumble in a big-time situation.

Everyone here knows that if the Lakers win any of the 1st 3 games then no one will watch. When it actually matters, the Black Mamba will strike and win the game in the 4th quarter.

This is a Mavericks teams without Caron Butler as well. Just something to think about. I think this is more of the Lakers downfall than the Mavericks rise. The Mavericks have been impressive, no doubt. I think being doubted since the playoffs gave them a chip on their shoulders. However, they are the Mavericks, and you must show me more than 2 series. Hell, you have to show me more than 2 wins in the finals.

This isn't the same Mavs team everybody keeps referring to.

This is a Mavs team who actually plays TOUGH defense and one with an inside presence in Tyson Chandler. Dirk also seems to have "it" now.

You can say all you want about a "Lakers downfall", but the fact is, the Lakers could very well be up 2-1. The Mavs gritted out Game 1 and game 3 wins, especially being down in the 4th quarter.

Yup. When they finish this thing off is when I'll say who they are or aren't. I won't declare them something new after three games, or even this series. They need to win it all or they're just like all the other teams of this past decade-- quite talented, but not the best. I find it more shocking the Lakers are on the verge of crumbling than I am to see the Mavericks on the verge of the WCF. The Mavericks have earned everything they've received this series.

Rondo is a fucking beast for just coming back from that elbow injury. Unreal.

The Grizzlies are the truth. I've been waiting for them to be THIS good since last season. Imagine if Rudy Gay were available? Seriously, this team has a LEGIT chance of winning the west. Kevin Durant called ZBO (B&B) the best PF in the game... I tend to agree. Especially when he's plays to his full capability.
