Notice the Nike-looking checks on the sleeves? haha shameless.

Dumb decision by them. They have a great uniform and they go changing it for this abomination.

Love em, will definitely sway a few in recruiting (sad I know). Big Ten purists are busy removing trim and stripes from their jerseys to go to a more classic (aka dull) look to match the classic (aka dull) play on the field.

I do like the helmets, but the old ones with Sparky on them were pretty good too.

The all black ones look nice though, always a fan of teams with blacked out alternate jerseys. (Ravens, Jags, ect)

There are quite a few schools going with black jerseys as alternates. Georgia, Florida State, and Tennessee (I think) have all used them and none of them have black in their school colors.

Eh, its more just to get people excited and sell jerseys. I don't think we'll see Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC and Michigan going that route, although I have seen a few posters on a Notre Dame board saying they'd like to see it. :( Hopefully the throwbacks for the ND/Michigan game and occasional green jerseys are as far as Notre Dame goes with messing with jerseys.

I truly dont see whats wrong with people switchin up the uniforms. Seems like every year people bitch and complain about Oregon or someone else havin fun with their uniforms.

i really like the all blacks, pretty sharp.

i dont see why anyone would try and act like changing a jersey would break tradition, very few colleges have had the same jersey since the modern era of football began.

they'll be the best looking 6th place team in the Pac 10. who cares what the uniforms look like? if a team doesn't win they don't matter enough to make a big fuss over their unis.

Better question is who cares? Why does it bother you that some teams do this? Why can't traditions be started now? I bet people were pissed the first time ND busted out in green jerseys.

I didn't say that it bothers me. I don't have any issue with it and I already said I like the jerseys. I was just pointing out that ASU is not the first school without black listed as one of its colors to wear black jerseys. I also said I would prefer that Notre Dame doesn't go with black jerseys, but I wouldn't be bothered by it.
