In the embarrassing pictures thread there is a text conversatino between two people and the one person says "and a huge dick for entertainging"

It was supposed to be deck for entertaining on the back of the house! Kinda funny.

You ever send something like that, or send a message to the wrong person?

If so..how did it work out?

I accidently sent a message to a woman about how she was hot. It was supposed to go to my friend of mind but accidently went to her.

Was a little embarrassing at first...but it ended up being pretty cool as down the road we kinda dated for a bit and had a great time together!

I have never text before, but it sounds delightful.

I have two girls with the same first name that I'm currently talking to and they hate each other...I'm just waiting to fuck this one up.

I sent some raunchy cartoon/jokes to my cousin before (forgetting that he changed cell co.) before the person I sent them to asked me who I was. Come to find out it was some little old lady.

OOOPS!

Thank God I didn't send them to somebody that was very young!

back when i was a junior in high school somehow my friends sitting behind me got my cell phone out of my hoody pocket without me noticing, went to the bathroom, and sent a text to my mom saying "I want to fuck you so bad right now"..He said he didnt look at the name he was texting because he just randomly clicked on a message in my inbox and he thought it was my girlfriend. My mom only sent me one message and he just so happened to click on it and send it to her. She was pissed and it took me a while convincing my mom that i didnt send it.lol

had an embarrassing text this year, was hanging out with a pretty hot chick doin some boozin and went to text my friend about her roommate and was like "she's a lot uglier than i thought" to the girl i was with...tough to explain that one

I accidentally put my cellphone on "speaker" instead of "vibrate" during a youth lacrosse league meeting one evening, and left it in my jacket pocket, That's the evening my wife called and left a voice-mail message for me - discussing, quite graphically, and with great enthusiasm, the fact that our kids had gone to a basketball game across town, would not be home until 11 pm , and that she would be anxiously waiting for my return home in an unclad state.

At least I got a standing ovation from the other fathers - and a pass for the rest of the meeting.

Happened to a coworker, but a "chick" sent him a semi-nude picture of herself to his phone. He showed it to us. He responded with something like "Wow, nice...but I don't know you" or something like that. She respondd back with "Oh I'm so embarrassed, blah blah blah.." then sent ANOTHER pic. He responded with the "wow, you're cute..etc.,"

To this day, I firmly believe that wasn't a real girl, it was someone fishing for their next rape victim lol.

I got a text from some guy in Mississippi with red pubes. I had no idea who it was.

This was semi embarrassing but I was kind of glad I did it too to gloat.

My friend's gf took a picture of his ass while he was taking a shower and then sent one of his nutsack with the description "Brains" from the movie Waiting. She was sending him via his phone, but I decided to take a pic of my wiener and send it to him just to get back at him. I ended up sending it to her instead. In my defense, they were next to each other in the contact list.

At my old job, I meant to send one of my co-workers a text telling him that my boss was being a real dick that day. I sent the text to my boss instead. Definitely thought I was getting fired for it. But I never did get in trouble.

Had some random woman text me one night talking about how she wanted me to come over AGAIN because her husband was gone for the night. Seeing as how I was with my friends at the bar, drunk and in need for entertainment. I continue to text this woman throughout the night pretending to be the guy she INTENDED on texting. Needless to say it got very entertaining until we went a little too far and she figured out that we were fucking with her. Funny thing is she kept trying to talk to me via text. I got bored with it and passed out at home.

As a parent of three teenage children this new technology and texting craze allows me new insight and knowledge into what my kids are up to. They can't delete all of them and forget and leave their phones laying around the house buzzing away. Gets my attention. And yes I check them out. Cellphones limit their excuses as to their whereabouts and meeting curfew. Back in my teenage years in the 80's it was much easier to snow my parents. Today kids have to work a lot harder. I took my son's phone as punishment and he thought he would grab my wife's phone to fire of a text message to one of his friends during his grounding of his cell phone. The kid did not think and fired off a response about sneaking out. The message landed right in my wife's hands. Oops.

Once you have a life and are a parent it won't be creepy. If a phone I pay for is buzzing in my house that I pay for I have every right to pick it up and read what is on it. My kids know the rules. When they are adults and paying for their own shit I will not be picking up their phones and checking their messages.

I love my kids and until they are adults I will intervene in their lives as I see fit in order to steer them in the right direction. My wife and I have intercepted messages that would have put my son and his friends in danger. A road trip with a car full of teens under the influence? Am I a creep for how I discovered this plan? Yes I did similar things as a kid and luckily survived. A couple of kids in my high school were not so lucky.

I am an adult and have experienced over twice the life my kids have. Kids are ignorant and they are prone to stupidity. I am no prude. I know what kids deal with. I was one once. I will continue to do what I can while I have influence and control over them to prevent them from involving themselves in dangerous situations. Sleeper come back in 25 yrs and we will talk.

Majorspark you owe no one an explanation for those actions...not even your kids. It's not creepy. It's parenting.

Cool. Hey let me know how that works out for you when you're kids don't call you once their "adults". I've seen strict parents who think they know what they're doing with their kids, being overprotective and invasive is one way to destroy the trust fabric that is already fragile to begin with. And no, checking your child's phone is not good parenting, its creepy regardless of if you catch them doing something you would do as a kid. Being a kid is part of making your own mistakes and when they happen, you're parents lay the hammer down to teach you a lesson.

Trust me, your kids will put on a front pretending they like you and then when you least expect it, they will be gone and never talk to you again. Come back to me in 25 years, we can talk, and I'll be right.

Exactly. My 14 year old daughter knows I have the right and responsibility to check her facebook and her texts without her "permission" or even knowledge. I haven't checked anything yet, no need to, but she understands that the possibility is there. Its not creepy, its not snooping, it is being a responsible, loving parent.

The key part of this is "child's phone." This is a relatively new phenomenon. For centuries children got by without their own phones. Just because Dakota, Madison and Precious expect 100% privacy doesn't mean they should get it unless they are willing (and able) to pay 100% of the costs. Having your own phone is a privilege, hell I didn't even have my own cell phone until I was 26, and there was certainly a lot less trouble to get involved in. At least when idiots got in trouble when I was a kid they had to go out of their way to get in trouble. It wasn't just a post or click away.
