No way he drops from the top spot after this showing against Alabama. He put forth 100% effort. That is all we can ask from Tebow.

To Tebow... stats don't matter.

The leadership and effort he brings alone gets him the Heisman!

Who cares about the Heisman Trophy? John Heisman wishes he could have won the Tebow Trophy.

It's OK, because those tears he is crying on national TV can cure cancer.

His tears cure cancer, so at least something good came about from this loss.

McCoy is taking a shit in the B12 game, so Tebow is still alive. And he has the Big Guy on his side.

Maybe Gerhart can upset both these poseurs if McCoy continues to screw the pooch in the B12 game.

Maybe Christ will return, present Tebow the Heisman then judge the living and the dead, and him and Tebow will lead all the faithful to heaven. And that's how the world ends...

If McCoy doesn't pick up the pace, Ingram will win it, and he would have my vote if I had one.

Tebow definitely lost his chance at the Heisman today. He shouldn't have been in the conversation anyways, but he's definitely not going to win it now.

My top 5 is:

1. Mark Ingram, RB/Alabama
2. Toby Gerhart, RB/Stanford
3. Colt McCoy, QB/Texas
4. C.J. Spiller, RB/Clemson
5. Ndamukong Suh, DT/Nebraska

Ingram definitely did something--he for sure put himself in position to win it.

If it were my choice, I'd give it to CJ Spiller.

If Suh blocks this FG they should give him the Heisman tonight.

If it were actually about who the best player in CFB is, Suh should receive every vote, but it's not. It's about who the best QB/RB is on a top team, with preference given to upperclassmen.

^On one of the best teams--which is why Spiller won't win it and Ingram will. Ingram has a solid argument, but Spiller is the better back.

I agree completely about Suh. Best player in the country. My buddy said he hasn't seen domination like that on defense since Woodson and I'd have to agree with him.

Tebow really should not be top 2 in the Heisman this year. Spiller and Ingram have been great all year. The sad part about the Heisman now is that a player like Charles Woodson will never win the award again because for some reason, people believe it has to go to a QB/RB/WR on a good team. It's a shame defensive players and offensive lineman get no credit towards this award anymore.

Why isn't Gilyard from UC getting any recognition?

80 rec. 1150 yards 11tds
34 kr. 1074 yards 2 tds
16 pr. 202 yards 1 td
and 1 rush TD
