Common Man and the Torg were again discussing Tribe attendance today and telling how embarrassing it was/has been. How dare they! What a couple of trolls.

Marlins have won a couple world series and their attendance is horrible. They don't have bandwagon fans, hell they don't even have real fans. IMO Cleveland is a football city then basketball then baseball. Can only spend so much money on sports when the market is flooded with teams.

I don't know that there's a single Florida team I'd say has a legit fanbase other than the Dolphins (due to their tradition). Florida's the state where old-timers go for the winter or to live and most of their teams haven't been there for that long compared to others. I think the Marlins fucked themselves over as far as developing a tradition because of their habit of putting together World Series teams and then immediately disbanding them to start over.
