Pres. Obama will likely sign the repeal. An enormous burden on all businesses, great and small, will not manifest itself. I suppose the only political question is who are the 12 Senators that voted against this?!

I'd still like to know which individual thought that this was a "good idea" to include in the bill lol

Maybe some that voted against this bill like Reid, Leahy, Schumer, Pelosi, Frank, Kucinich, Waxman and the other usual suspects.

Had nothing to do with healthcare, just the funding portion. All business to business transactions over $600 in the aggregate would need to be reported to the IRS. Get gas on the way to a business meeting - have to ask the owner what their EIN is. Stop at McDonalds at Port Columbus - have to ask the franchisee what their EIN is. Apparently some nitwit thought millions (if not billions) of more paperwork would catch tax cheats, the only thing it would catch is more red tape for businesses.
