I agree. I was heartbroken when the strike happened. I still remember thinking that they and the White Sox were pretty much the best two teams in the MLB.

The baserunning was all about timing. I could usually get a steal a game with the fastest player on my team, and with fastball pitchers, there was a certain place on the rubber where, if you moved the pitcher there on a 2-strike count, you could get a called strike three every time.
