Bathroom door
I have no idea how this happen but it did. It started very young… I think
I have three daughters (two married w/ kids and one single living in Chicago) and a wife, our house has two full bathrooms and ½ bathroom downstairs on the first floor and another in the basement that is what these girls grew up with. They don’t shut the door … it does matter washing hands, putting on make-up or taking a crap.. They don’t shut the door and still don’t.
When we have guest over, friends and have parties .. that’s a different situation, they shut the door.
When they where kids, teenage, young adults and now ….. they don’t shut the door. The wife doesn't shut the door(learned behavior?)
It’s like they are going to miss something or be left out of the conversation. That the other thing they are have a conversation with their sisters or their mom… wtf with that?
I’m their dad and there is nothing I haven’t seen before but please. It like they come over and everything is old habits and is OK.
Note: They also don’t shut the door at their home also… I ask their husband and roommate..
Do you shut the bathroom door when you’re in your home or the home you grew up in?
