That looked as epic as the 1st one. PLEASE let them have pulled it off. The whole SAME cast tho....I dont know how you could go wrong.

It looks like an exact replica of the first one. Not sure that's a good thing.

It is. Same scenarios, same plot, same cast...

However, I don't care as long as it makes me laugh, and given the cast, that's a given.

I never realized Thighland was twice the size of Wyoming.

Looks like this one could be funny, although we have seen the premise in the first one. It seems like this is one of those you just go watch and have fun without over analyzing.

I'm kinda sad that Stu isn't marrying Heather Graham :( (Or remarrying I guess?)

But I'm still pumped.

Yeah, when I first heard it was Stu getting married I was expecting Heather Graham but I guess not. It looks good. I will go see it.

Oh, I thought we were watching the trailer to the first one.

SMH, I guess I am in the minority, but I didn't think the first one was as hysterical as everyone else made it out to be. It was solid, but not as funny as everyone made it out to be. This movie just seems lazy, and a way capitalize on the popularity of the first one, which I can't blame them for selling out for all that dough, but this movie would have been much better left off with just the original.

Which comedies do you find hysterical?

I agree. I found it slightly amusing, but not funny. Actually it seemed to go on and on and got kind of annoying.

Before bigdaddy asks me, I thought Superbad was funny, I liked Clerks and Clerks II, Planes Trains & Automobiles still makes me laugh, Knocked Up was decent, 40 Year Old Virgin, and The Break Up....those off the top of my head I find ten times as funny as The Hangover.

I guess it's all about opinions. I thought all of those movies you named were funny but I found Hangover to be funnier than a few of them.

It is a good thing IMO. An example I would point to is Home Alone 2. It was the exact plot and even had many of the same quotes and it was just as good as the first.

Agreed. Its like all they did was change the rearrange the characters into each situation.

I don't know if you watched the trailer or the original but this is not the same movie. See, in the original Stu wakes with a missing tooth and in part II he wakes up with a facial tattoo and instead of a tiger in the bathroom it is now a monkey. TOTALLY different:)

I had no idea some people took their comedy so seriously.

I do.

While I didn't find The Hangover to be hilarious, it was certainly funny. This movie looks like the exact same thing and my hopes aren't very high.

I mean, I loved the Hangover. It's one of my favorites. I'm just not sure they should've made a second one.

Hey, we can at least look forward to Mike Tyson again, and Bill Clinton is also in this one. Also, the the little chinese guy is back, that's a bonus. Haters on this thread are probably fat, and take offense that they themselves are funny, cuz they fat!.

Of course I'll watch it.....after it hits DVD, but I won't go to the theater. It looks very "meh."

I thought the first was entertaining when I saw it in the theater....then I watched a few weeks later and didn't even get through it.

The first one was not freaking hilarious, but I agree that it wasn't as funny the second time. Unless someone comes on here and says it was great I'll probably wait until it comes out on dvd. It does not look original at all.

Probably was a mistake to make a sequel, and it does look very unoriginal. But I will probably still watch. Gallifinaikis makes me laugh
