I don't entirely disagree. But the hatred extended beyond the field and accused the man of things that were untrue. Then when stretch-gate happened, those RR hater Buckeyes used it to validate their false accusations.
I certainly felt RR should have been fired, but I also don't think he is the bad guy many make him out to be. Same with Tressel. I think he fucked up, but I don't think he is a bad person because of it.
