Naima or Haley is going home. Still not as much about singing as it is about popularity. I think Thia holds on for quite a while using her fanbase from America's Got Talent.

I will stick by my prediction last week, this is Naima's last week on the show. The song and dance she did last night was horrific. I thought that song and her talent could have made for a very nice classic rendition of the song, but she destroyed it.

Haley who has perpetually been in the bottom three turned in a great performance last night, not enough to keep her out of the bottom three, but enough to keep her around another week.

I thought Jacob and James were the best of a real good show. The compitition is really close and will be hard to see anyone go home from here on out.

The Motown theme showcased Jacob's strong suit. I like James because I think the current music scene needs some diversity. When my wife has the radio on in the car, all the male singers sound the same as do the females. I think the whole music scene has become very vanilla. I like James because he is a rocker. What ever did become of rock music? It seems all the rock music is played on the oldies stations anymore. Is there such a thing as rock music currently? Obviously, there is a desire for it, look how popular American Idol is this year with the addition of a rock icon as a judge.

I'm a rocker...thus James is my favorite. And I love Tyler on the panel. R&R hasn't been the same since the 80s. IMO there aren't any bands out there like there were in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. James has the voice and style of a front man from the older bands. I hope and believe he'll be there till the final show

Actually I thought Paul gave his best performance last night. But yeah he is the new Rod Stewart.

count me 'not a fan' of Paul. I'm not sure why he is so great. "Quirky" is the word used to descibe him sometimes....so what's the big whup?

Hmmm, so this will round out the top ten, eh? Well, if I had to pick the one I would LEAST care to see on the tour, it would be Scott. Send him packing, puhleaze!!!!

Casey....B He performed well, but that song has been done a million times.
Thia B- No connection with the song or the audience. Maybe its because she is 15.
Jacob A I realize Steven game him a hug and the judges love him; I just don' t know if America loves him as much as they do. He is superb, but a he is not mainstream.
Stefano B- The only reason he is still on the show is because he is banging J-Lo.
Pia B+ As Randy said, mix it up a little. I realize she is destined to be the next Celine Dion, but to make it through the show, she will have to do something out of her comfort zone.
Paul B- For some reason, I like the guy and would like to see him stay. He has a different sound that interests me.
Haley B I think she was great last night. There's something about her that I like a lot. I hope she sticks around for a few more weeks.
Lauren B She channeled Kim Wild's version of the song last night instead of Motown. Visually she is what Britney Spears chunkier little sister would look like.
Scotty A- This young man is destined to be a country star. He's a breath of fresh air in this day and age of "pop music with a little twang".
Naima B Her best performance. She strikes me as a girl who was born about 20 years too late. She would have been a big star in R&B in the early 90s with the whole Africa thing she has going on.
James A As others have noted, he is a rock star with the whole package. Not only can he sing, he can perform in front of crowd. Loved that little backstep he did last night.

I think the final three will be Thia, Paul and Stefano. Stefano will be announced he is going home. The judges collaborate and there is a mixed decision. He has to go. Lopez is in tears and walks off the set as the show ends.

Jacob has a powerful voice but he just isn't going to win. I can't get into him because he sings like he has a fan on tongue but that is just me.

Total efffing set up tonight. The show lost all credibility in my eyes tonight.

Casey got voted off the judges stopped him from singing and saved him while in total disbelief That Casey would have came in last place. It was a complete farce.

Did anyone else catch how Casey was acting at the end? He was either high or physically ill. I thought for a second he was going to pass out, then I thought he was going to do something crazy like punch someone. Weird.

Yeah I saw his acting job. Although he had been hospitalized a couple of weeks ago, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he might be ill. Just when they sucked me in to watching again this year, they pull this bullshit.

Talent wise is Casey better than some of the other contestants? Yes. But at this point it isn't really about talent it is about popularity or perceived marketability by America at large. The judge's reactions showed the sham this show has become.

Oh give me a break. I can certainly see how Casey ended up on the bottom...Number 1 he wasn't that good last nite. Number 2...my wife and daughter are voting like mad last nite for Haley because they like her better than Thia, and they figure she needs help.

That's what the judges save is for...when the voting makes a mistake and to stop an injustice. No way in hell did they think they would have to use the one save this early....but Casey Abrams has been one of the best throughout.It's gonna be damn interesting from here on out. Two people gotta go next week...and there will be NO SAVE.
