It can't be that great with all of the one and dones Matta has had. There have also been a few transfers, not sure if those impact graduation rates or not but I would guess they do.'

Once again, you were trying to discount both the FSU and Florida wins because they are 1000 times better now supposedly. Just like you made excuses when Kansas lost to Texas. This is very simple... you make excuses to try to discredit when teams win.

Just accept what happened. OSU beat both Florida and FSU on their homecourt, and Kansas lost to Texas on their hc. There is no need to try to explain away things that happened. They happened so deal with it.

Just because you played a SS team in November doesn't make the victory a very good one. Do you see me bragging about KU's OOC schedule? No, because it wasn't that good...however, looking back at it, it was actually pretty good. But that doesn't make KU's victories over Michigan, UCLA, and USC really good. Those were all average teams when KU played them, just like FSU was an average team when OSU played them.

And enough with the UT thing...if anything, I look right and you all look wrong. KU beat Texas by double digits when they weren't up all night crying the night before..FACT. That's all I was trying to say...that KU would beat UT with no death situation. And I was right. Now, is it okay for Bill Self to say this? No. The players? No. But fans are allowed to say shit like that, and when what they say comes true, its not smart for people like you to keep bringing it up.

As a fan, I am allowed to say it was because of it. How else do you explain it? KU was undefeated at the time, they had won 69 straight games in AFH, and they were playing very well. I guess I see what you're saying, but IMHO more often than not those teams are underrated early. Pollsters or whoever did not realize how good they were at the time but by the end of the season it's more obvious.

Pollsters' jobs are to rank the teams based off performance, not their potential, not how good they CAN be. Florida State did not have a quality win until Baylor; did you want them to be in the top 25 as a 9-4 team with no quality victories? They weren't underrated, they just didn't hit their potential until the end of the season.

That is ignorance. Do you know why that is ignorance? Because you do not know how close Kansas players are to each other. They are not just teammates, not just friends..they consider each other family. The Kansas tree is a very closely connected family, they are not just friends. Hell, the Morrii and TRob end most of their twitter posts with "F.O.E."--their team slogan...which stands for "family over everything"

Underrated = being better than you are rated. FSU might not have shown that they were better than that, but I think it's fair to say they were even if they hadn't played anyone. I can admit that it's possible that it took them a while to come together and they are significantly better now than they were earlier in the season, but I honestly haven't watched them play outside of their one game with OSU so I can't say for sure.

Lots of people say lots of shit. I don't believe all of them were that affected by one player losing their mom regardless of what their team slogan is. But I also know shit about Kansas and don't want to argue. I can agree to disagree. :)

It's not about the slogan; the slogan is just further proof that these guys consider each other family. And when one of your family members' mom dies the night before a game, that is going to be a rough night...when you have to play a game 12 hours later, you are going to struggle. Even further evidence of that is their hot start getting off to a 16-2 lead..then the adrenaline wore off and they just couldn't do it. I mean look at the stats...Markieff went 2-7, Marcus 6-17, Taylor 2-8, Selby 2-9...this is the same team that is #1 in the country in FG%. They don't shoot that poorly at home on a regular night. The evidence is all there.
