I say we all the time when referring to OSU and all my teams. I spend a whole lot of money on merchandise, cable packages to watch my Ohio out of market teams here in FL, I travel back to Ohio for games and go to bowl games when they are in Florida playing so I will say we and never have a problem when others do to, except for Gibby of course!

Always makes me laugh when people say that. Aren't all games in which you can name a score technically "in the past?" What is the cut off point? Are you only allowed to brag about a win for a season? What if you don't play that team every year? How long are you allowed to brag about a win before it's considered in the past?

Pretty much. Not taking jabs at people, just the dumb logic fans use to frame arguments (all fans do it on here for all schools).

No one should be able to brag about 5 straight big ten titles because 4 of them are in the past, right?

But you are citing a game that happened earlier this season...which would be the past. By your logic if osu wins the title are you going to cite the two uf wins from 06/07 and say they are better now bevause of thay?

I'm not trying to ruffle your feathers. Just trying to figure this out. As a Notre Dame fan...all we hear is that we need to quit living in the past. I just want to know what the cutoff is. It's just a comical expression to me, especially when someone says it and then cites a game from the previous season or a record against a team over the past 10 years.
