that's the halftime score

ND up 34-30

Akron not getting anything from 7-footer Zeke Marshall offensively

they need to bring in a big man coach to work with him and develop some offense, good shot blocker and huge wingspan

Th AD should be fired as well, for putting the players and coach in this lame duck position. They had their mind up to fire him months ago.

The Fab 5 vs Duke

Jalen Rose vs Grant Hill

Looks like we are going to have a Michigan vs Duke second round.

Akron has a chance if Zeke can turn it around offensively. He doesn't have to be amazing but he needs to make a few and then they'll have to respect his game and it will open it up for everybody else.

Instead of just posting up at the block he should flash in the paint some. When he does, you have to throw it to him quick to avoid three seconds but at his height it's an easy throw and catch wherever he's at.

Morris said he's coming back, although that doesn't mean anything. This is a PG heavy draft so I think he'll stay. He needs to work on his left hand, he'd be lucky to get drafted late 2nd.

Picked UM, but I didn't expect a smackdown like this!

I like the ND/Akron game, because no matter who wins, I'm happy (picked ND, but spent a year at Akron and live there).

Rick McFadden on the Akron bench as an assistant. Former Struthers QB, spent a few years at OSU.

He needs to come back, he still has a lot to improve on, decision making, quickness, jumpshot, shot selection, he's only a sophomore I believe?

I agree on the decision making, but his quickness/jumpshot/shot selection are great. He shot 50% this year, he needs to work on his 3 point shooting though, maybe that's what you are referring to. His midrange jump shot is very solid. Even with a few questionable decisions each game he has a 2.2/1 A/T.

I picked Michigan to get the upset against Duke so I really liked what I saw there in the second half.

Akron hangs with ND but can't catch them, and ND can't put them away. It has been anywhere between a 4-10 point game all day

Akron down by 8 with 8:53 to go. Diggs is fouled while shooting by Hansbrough, and the shot would have counted if it had gone. It was clearly goal tending with no call and Diggs misses both for no points on the play. Then ND gets the lead up to 11. Big non-scoring possession! Why don't we ever see a foul and goal tending on the same play! They ought to tell the players on defense when there is a whistle jump up and get the ball ASAP before it goes in the basket!
