Saw michigan take 6 or 7 charges today neutralized the Tennessee offensive penetration.

People are so jealous that Duke is coached to take charges.
All teams are coached to take charges. That is what sucks.

The college game needs the NBA semi0circle around the basket.

Huge difference between taking charges and falling down when people jump over you without touching you.

Also, the op forgot to mention the jobs your parents can get in Durham when you play at Dook.

Im pretty sure singler leaned over into strickland to take that charge thereby flopping. It's not that big of a deal but in my eyes that was def. not a charge, no call at best.

It is clear that the UNC player jumped into the Duke player. If the ref called it a foul then Singler had position. Thanks for posting the pic and proving yourself wrong.

He didnt post the pic I did clown and Singler was already leaning back before Dex even made contact you can see he is lifting his shoulder to make the contact.

What a funny shirt. Actually a shame. UNC has plenty of championships to celebrate. They don't have to create one to put on a shirt.

I'm just showing everyone here what UNC fans are pounding their chests about. A cotton t-shirt representing what amounts to a pinewood derby trophy.

The ACC Cloth.

Haha. As long as 'Ol Roy is at the helm, those t-shirt titles are all they are going to be winning. As we all know, Roy doesn't believe in the ACC Championship. He simply takes his wife to the "ACC cocktail party" to dance.

Some people, me included , value a regular season champion more than a conference tournament champion. One involves a 16 game body of work lasting months. The other involve a good seeding and a 3 game body of work lasting 3 or 4 days. Why anyone puts value conference tournament champions is beyond me.

They don't have to create one to put on a shirt.
Is it better to create a trophy ??

if Kyle Singler had defensive position established
He didn't. Strickland moved his body to avoid the flopper, but the flopper inched his shoulder into Strickland's elevated body and let out a yell. Good defense???

Some people, including me, value winning two games out of three against the regular-season "first place finisher" and then going on to win the official ACC championship, as declared by the conference by-laws, over that team in overly convincing fashion.

I have been in Cameron's foyer and through its corridors many times and I don't recall such a trophy existing. However, I could very easily have missed it. I believe swami if he says he saw one but I would like to see the picture. Regardless, I don't think it matters all that much what you do when you've swept all the "championships" on a given year, which I am sure Duke did on the specific year in question. I mean, the Blue Devils have won 12 ACC tournament titles since 1992. Over the span, the rest of the conference's 11 teams have won nine.

But to call yourself champion when, in fact, you did not win the ACC Tournament, is fraudulent.

duke is the better team by virtue of their victory over UNC in the conference tournament, but UNC was better in conference play because they had a better conference record.

Tournament Championships mean absolutely nothing to me.

I'm not arguing about who is the ACC Champion, because it's clearly Duke, but the quoted words above are fucking ridiculous. A pathetic program? Get real!

If Carolina has a pathetic program, Duke must be even shittier.

Well, if you look at the trends of the last 20 years in the Duke-North Carolina rivalry and of the national basketball landscape as well, I think you would find that Duke is actually ahead of the Tar Heels in almost every major statistical category. Since 1991, Duke has more national championships, more....I am kidding. Lol. I am actually tired of listening to myself haha.

North Carolina doesn't have a pathetic program. That's absurd. But they are pathetic. There's a difference. :)

You can value whatever you want but the ACC does not declare a regular season champ.
I've heard the ACC changed their stance in this. If they did, I congratulate on the common sense decision. If they didn't, they have no common sense.
The tshirt only represents the extreme jealousy and desperateion to claim something that doesnt exist. What a pathetic program.
What does duke's trophy represent?

A tournament Carolina doesn't win very often relative to their rivals in the past decade.

You are referencing the wrong trophy.
