I've been off of paleo for a while now, and my diet has been complete shit these past few weeks. I am really starting to feel it. I am jumping back on the bandwagon on Monday.

It messes with you, man. If you eat clean for so long and then deviate with some kind of processed carbs (candies, cookies, etc), it can trigger a downward spiral. I think they put something in that shit that makes you crave more & more. Guess that's why the Lay's Potato Chip commercial says "no one can eat just one."

That's what I am trying to stay away from as well.

I enjoy eating healthy. It's fun to come up with different recipes and such. Tonight I'll be making some salsa poached eggs. I never had poached eggs before, but they aren't that much different than any other egg (puke on hard-boiled!).

Tim Ferriss is all about that "cheat day" to help contain the cravings. It also allows for some other boosts and such. It's just nice to stay away from all that processed crap that BR1986FB mentioned. I know this summer will turn to complete crap when I have camp after camp to do. But, I am hoping to try and contain that as much as possible.

12 pounds down in 19 days. That's a lot of "water weight" as some "individuals" say...

It feels good. Dropped an inch off my waist and stomach, at least. I just need to make sure I continue getting in the gym.

You do realize in order to drop 12 pounds of fat in 19 days you would have to be under consuming 2200 calories per day. This is unlikely, I don't care if you are eating nothing but organic apples.

Keep your head in the sand though.

I'm happy that he's chosen a healthier lifestyle. I don't like when people make statements that are inaccurate, are told that their statement is inaccurate, and then continue to make inaccurate statements.

Plus its negative reinforcement. If your lifestyle can survive my criticism, then you are on the path to greatness.

beer and white chedder popcorn has been my biggest cheat. Usually once or twice a week if at all. Not sure how it's effected me because my weight has not changed. I have lost some definition because of not working out, but overall I feel good.

I wish I could say that.

I've tried so hard to like them. I just can't do it. I think I can eat eggs any other way (except raw) and really enjoy them. I've tried to jazz up the hard-boiled ones any way I can...still doesn't work. It'd make it much easier if I could eat them, breakfast would be so much quicker.

I am going to pick up some Oreo white chocolate popcorn that a local popcorn shop has. It's the flavor of the month for February! Cannot wait to eat it on Sunday!

I saw this on life hacker - Cut open and avocado and take out the pit. Crack open an egg into the hole where the pit was and bake it.

I might try it since i love eggs and avocado makes everything better.

I combine eggs and avacados at least once a week. My four main paleo food groups are eggs, bacon, avacados and sweet potatos.

I just can't get into them. I have tried and tried. They are so good for you. Darn hard-boiled eggs and avocados!

Are you saying that someone can't comfortably consume <2200 calories per day? If so, with the way I eat (LeanGains 16/8 Intermittent Fasting), my calories REGULARLY come in under 2200 at 230+ lbs bodyweight with no hunger.
