Good show, a bit campy at times. I think it has better acting and interesting characters than writing, but not deep or challenging by any stretch. Kind of shocking that it's the #1 show, to be honest. Fairly entertaining and you can kind of turn the brain off. Basically it's a dumbed down version of CSI and/or Law & Order with a bit more humor thrown in.

A dumbed down version of CSI? Do you even watch the show? I actually prefer NCIS:LA, but both are hands down better shows than CSI.

Its not bad. It is a spinoff of JAG...first two eps of it basically was a two part episode of JAG when an officer was killed and they brought in NCIS to investigate it.

I like the show...not nearly as much as I did JAG though. It gets too technical and such for me. Ziva....H O T. Wow. She is amazing. I think NCIS uses its military ties to its advantage although, personally, to me, it is just another cop show that throws in the military name a bit.

JAG was much better. I know, I know..JAG lawyer do not do what the JAG lawyers did in the show, and it was way far fetched, but it was more tied to the military as athey are in uniform, talking more military stuff and such whereas NCIS is loosely tied to it. (dont know...NCIS may be mroe realistic...very well could be...but I liked how engrossed JAG was to the military).


and no...i have not watched the LA version. I dont think i ever watched NCIS when it is originally is on..always reruns on USA

JAG was a good show for sure. My mom turned me on to NCIS back in the day. Good show haven't watched LA yet either.

I always remember Harmon from a movie or mini series in the 80s called The Deliberate Stranger. Think he played a murdered who was killling college girls..maybe based on a true story..dont quite rememer

I think I got turned on NCIS when the reruns of JAG became less and less on USA and I looked for a replacement show taht had something related to the military. The Unit was good but short lived so I gothooked on NCIS. As I said..Ilike it.....loosely based on military but its basically like a normal crime show.

IF anyone has a chance....the two parter that was a spinoff of jag is a very good two part show!

Yeah, I watch both NCIS. I stand by that they are campy and dumbed down - they are shows you turn the brain off and just sit back to enjoy.

It's an ok show. Get tired of turning on the tv and seeing it on 5 channels at the same time (along with all 10 versions of Law and Order or howmany there are now)

I didn't know her exact age but yeah I knew she wasn't too young doesn't mean I still wouldnt mind getting with her :). Also I did know she had the degree which is really cool.
