Personally, I could care less. Maybe Cavs fans want to see highlights of their favorite team. Why do you have a hard time understanding that? ESPn could cut out some of the shit they show on SC and show more highlights. They spent 20 minutes today asking NFL "experts" to name the Top 5 things they will miss if there is no NFL next season. Like anybody cares that Teddy Bruschi is going to miss watching Peyton Manning. Less shit, more highlights.
It's not my perspective. It's what the masses want, and that's why ESPN is so successful. Contrary to what you want, the masses want to hear about the NFL. Sure it might be stupid, and I agree that a lot of it is, but they are only going to do segments that they think there is a demand for.
I couldn't care less either about Cavs highlights. But no one should be surprised to turn on Sportscenter and to not see any Cavs highlights, because the fact is that no one outside of Ohio cares about them.
The masses want to see what the stars have done and highlights. The Cavs were the featured team on Sportscenter last year, because they had the biggest star in the game and were good. Obviously things changed, and therefore, ESPN has to adjust to get a balance of supplying the demand.
