Just to clarify. My 9 to 5 job is as a web developer, not a designer. Our agency has 3 designers.
Good to know.

Also, $10 says the US military paid them to be a caterer, they didn't just do it out of the kindness of their hearts.
Actually they did. Go to a homecoming for marines and it is not put on by Outback. When I was with 1/2 we did not get the same. We got ham sandwiches and a Mt Dew. Sleeper those two meals mean fucking everything to you when you have been gone 7 months living off of MRE. But you obviously dont know what that's like. Oh by the way I am not hood.
Also i know for fact it was put on by Outback and the Marine Corps didn't spend a dime on it.

What difference does it make if the meals were provided for free or at a discount? The point is this is corporate philanthropy, and yes they do (and IMO should) advertise it. You don't go to a county fair and see a hog being bought by anonymous, it is by "Jackbat insurance agency" or the like. In the situation at hand, you can't provide a discount without advertising it and you can't explain to your stakeholders why it is you are being charitable without explaining who you are contributing to.

People like Sleeper will never understand the sacrifice our troops make!! Nor will you unless you serve or been close to someone who has! Even when there isn't a war going on!

Giving a million dollars to a good cause is a nice gesture whether you do it silently or tell everyone about it.

Don't care for Outback Steakhouse...so just donate to Operation Homefront instead. Then they get all the proceeds.

I'm not sure what's worse, being hoodwinked, or having a meal from Outback mean "fucking everything".
You chose to go in the army and you were paid a fair wage too. Sorry, I don't see the sacrifice.People like Sleeper will never understand the sacrifice our troops make!! Nor will you unless you serve or been close to someone who has! Even when there isn't a war going on!

To be fair, sleeper, I don't have a problem with an organization doing something like this and using it to market. That's business.
If what they actually do checks out, I don't care if they're modest and silent about it or if they use it to attract a demographic and draw more customers. Giving Americans, but also usng free market practices. What's more American than that?
