Calling out the poster who said Texas is the best team in the nation. Colorado called, they disagree. LOL

Does this loss count? Does this loss change your "one loss doesn't change anything, Texas is still the best". What is it now, 6 losses? Does 6 losses change that?

You're a joke, I don't remember who you are.

Also, Duke losing to Va Tech is no surprise as that is the caliber of team they'll be dropping too once they hit the tournament.

I think the comment was something along the lines of Texas was playing the best as a team in the country, which for about a month was true. It wasn't a shot at Ohio State, calm down.

Why didn't they deserve a top 5 ranking exactly? They were playing the best basketball in the country without question. Its funny that you say that people don't have a clue. "Why is Jimmer bringing the ball up the court?" Yeah, you are pretty well informed.

I picked Texas as my sleeper team on a thread long ago, and I still think they're a top five team....IMO, I've got OSU, Texas, Kansas, Duke & Pitt as my top five candidates that could go on to win the NC

Right, which initiated the offense. That's what a point guard does. How many BYU games have you watched?

Watch the OSU game today and see how many times Craft passes the ball off to Buford, Lighty, or Diebler at the top of the key.

Exactly. I'd like cc to list all of the teams where the PG has the ball in his possession the entire shot clock.

So losing one game in February prevents Texas from winning the national championship in April?

Normally I don't comment on Sleeper's post but this one is hilariously delusional.

This isn't about OSU, this about Texas being the best team in the country and losing to crap teams like Colorado. There's a group of fans on this forum who use backwords logic like "Oh, losses don't matter, Texas is still the best". LOL

These are probably the same people who were voting MSU in the top 25 after 7 freaking losses.

But speaking of OSU, will they finally get their long overdue #1 spot in the polls? Or should Texas and their 6 losses get it because they are the most complete, best team in the country.

Long overdue? They have been ranked #1 already this season. Then they lost.

I dont understand what is so hard for people to grasp about stuff that was said at the time. Obviously Texas isnt #1 right now and isnt playing very well. 3 weeks ago, or whatever it was, of course they deserved the top 5 ranking they have and were playing the best ball in America.

My gripe was about the logic of one loss not changing anything. Do people think the same about OSU now as opposed to when they were undefeated? No. Losses change things, period.

You still are retarded for saying Texas didn't deserve a top 5 ranking at that time, despite the loss last night.

I thought everyone knew. Duke lost to the Great Lakes Loons, a minor league baseball team out of Maine. It was all over the papers.

I still think they have a very complete team and will make a deep run in the tournament. Unless something catastrophic happens, or they are placed in a very unfavorable bracket, the Longhorns will have a place in my bracket's Final Four. (A loss to Colorado, who is 18-11, and on the NCAA bubble, is not catastrophic.)

I keep using this example, but it works: You do realize that Carolina, who was head and shoulders the most complete team in the country in 2005 and that season's national champion, lost early in the season to a Santa Clara team that finished 15-16, right?

You're as delusional as Terry Nichols.

It's late February. That is a terrible example. They are not the best, most complete team in the nation, and one loss does change everything.

Thanks for playing.
