So getting 4 players for Ben Fransisco would be one sided?? Sorry, I think you're way off.

Not even close. I wouldn't even trade Donald and Marson for Francisco right now.

The Tribe has traded Jayson Nix to the Blue Jays for money, money money.(cash considerations). This opened up a roster spot...as did placing Trevor Crowe and Jared Goedert on the 60 day DL...which allows the Tribe to give spots to the non-roster invitees who made the club, Hanahan, Buck, Germano and Everitt.

Manny Acta has announced the opening day lineup...
(I'm trembling with excitement)
.
.
.
.
.
1) Brantley CF
2) Druby Cabrera SS
3) Choo RF
4) Santana C
5) Hafner DH
6) O. Cabrera 2B
7) Kearns LF
8) La Porta 1B
9) Hanahan 3B

This year's team is going to depend a lot more on Haffner. If he can bat .280 with 90 RBIs and 20 Homers, this club has the potential for 2nd or 3rd.

If he isn't doing well by the middle of the season, they HAVE to find someone to replace him.

I like watching teams like this. There is a lot of potential on the roster and if the young guys develop faster then normal then it could be a really fun year. However we have to steel ourselves for the more likely scenario that we watch a bunch of kids struggle to figure out the major leagues. Even so I'm going to enjoy the ride. Go Tribe

Crowe is decent, but right now I'd rather have Buck and Kearns as the back-up outfielders. I think Crowe's days with the Tribe are numbered, unless we get bit with the injury bug hard.

Time to dust this off, post it tonight for some good luck (and get it on a recent thread so it's easier to find when needed)!

Did anyone notice Cabrera was out of the batters box on the squeeze bunt? He stepped behind the plate to reach way outside to get that pitch. Red sux and umpire didn't notice, but the sux catcher should have been all over the ump.

He probably was, but that is never called.
