We have a patient that comes in and chomps and cracks her gum. I CAN'T STAND IT!!! Really, has no one in this woman's life ever told her how annoying that is? I make sure to tell my kids (even the big one, my husband) when he's doing something annoying. Your doing them a favor. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't always listen. ;)

I'm guilty of this, theres an old lady at my work that says something to me all the time. I don't know why but I guess I've just always done it.

I'll catch some flack for this one...when my wife takes a drink of water, pop, milk, etc. she swallows EXTREMELY loud.

This just baffles me. How can someone swallow so hard? Why can't it just go down the pipes quietly? It's really not that hard to swallow quietly.

I have let her know numerous times how much it annoys me. I do it politely but she's tired of hearing it.

Most people are happy that the wife swallows... For me, the louder and more slurping the better.

Maybe you should come in early one morning and hook up a trough to her desk. She might get the hint OR use it as a place to store more food.
