I know they lost today but with all the other top 4 teams losing OSU should be in good position to move up the number 1 spot.

Texas has 4 losses, and they lost against Nebraska, and unranked and terrible Big 12 team.
Kansas lost to Kansas State, another unranked terrible Big 12 team.

OSU has 2 losses to 2 top team teams away in the toughest conference in the nation. No other team in the country has this type of resume.

And Duke? Didn't they lose 2 to unranked teams? They are terrible.

Absolutely. Look you can hate on OSU all you want, but you cannot deny they are the best and most complete team in the nation. I ask again, what other team can say they've not only beaten top ten teams, but have ZERO LOSSES to teams ranked outside of the top 10(Let's not even get into them being both road losses).

OSU is #1. If they don't get it, then it just goes to show the deep hatred for the the best, and we all know who that is.

Ohio State won't be #1 in the polls again this year, but who gives a fuck? They still have the best resume of any team in the country and it would be a travesty if they didn't get a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament (as long as they don't lose any home games or get knocked out in the first round of the Big Ten tournament.)

Neb. has 8 losses. With losses to Davidson and Texas Tech. They are 5-6 in their last 11 games. They aren't terrible...but I wouldn't call that anything but very avg. at best.

Ohio State won't be the new #1, in fact, they'll probably drop to #4. I don't give a fuck, either way, but a solid win today would have cemented it, as it stands they lost by 13...whatever.

As others have stated -- and which should be able to be deduced from common knowledge -- Duke will be the new No. 1, if the Blue Devils take care of business against the Yellow Jackets tonight.

Interesting fact: A win tonight would give Duke the chance to move within 12 weeks of the UCLA Bruins for the most weeks spent at No. 1 all-time. UCLA has held the position as the country's top team 134 weeks, while Duke has carried the title for 121 weeks.
