Question on the halftime report right now, thought it was an interesting conversation.

I think they should do just 1 division.

Big East works pretty well as one big ass conference.

Yeah there isn't really any reason to have divisions in college basketball with the conference tourneys.

One of the stats they gave was that in the past four (?) years the East is 44-17 overall against the West. Gotta do away with it.

I understand it makes scheduling nice, but at least don't use it for seeding. The MAC still does divisions... they give the worse of the 2 division champs the 2 seed (the West is MUCH worse than the East, so that team usually gets smoked in the 2nd round), but after that they just straight seed teams 3-12 regardless of division.

I think the BE sucks as 1 huge conference. The schedules are so damn uneven. However, the SEC is small enough to do away with them.

I also think the Big 12 should get rid of their divisions in bball. Especially the South. Texas has just been piling the wins versus the B12 South:D
