I remember a few years ago they did something similar for both Duke/UNC games, but they did it in a better way. For both match-ups they played the normal camera angle broadcast on ESPN. During the first game they showed the entire game from the "above the rim" cam on ESPN2, and during their second meeting they had like six different camera angles at once on ESPN2 (Sky cam, both above the rim, normal angle, under the basket, and maybe court level). If you want to experiment do it like that or do what NBC does with Sunday night football and put alternate angles online.

That above the rim stuff was pretty cool. I won't lie it's prolly the best with a giant tv

I hated this as well...

"The overhead angle was one of several innovations ESPN has tested out during college basketball coverage this week. The network also had separate cameras on Kansas State coach Frank Martin and Kansas' Bill Self on Monday night and mic'd up referee Jim Burr during Tuesday's Ohio State-Michigan State matchup"
