Yep, I think I go like this for AL and NL awards:

NL MVP - Braun (Upton and Kemp behind. Upton not so much with numbers, but because he is leading the division)
NL CYA - Kershaw (Kennedy, Kimbrel and Halladay next)

AL MVP - Granderson (Gonzalez, Joey Bats, Miggy, and Ellsbury...lots of great season in the AL)
AL CYA - Verlander (if Weaver werent doing his thing, it would be unanimous. Still might be...no one but those 2 are even close).

Just rare to lead the league in RBI and Runs...and even both leagues

Over 140 runs? Bagwell, Arod, Rickey in the 80's....who else the last 40 years?

Since 1937 Jeff Bagwell has the most runs scored in a season with 152.....Ted Williams 150 in 1949, Dom DiMaggio in 1941, Henderson, Sosa and Biggio all had 146

I say Granderson gets 148

Hunter Pence just got hit #800 in his career. It was a solo shot to Right Center. The pitch was a fastball about shoulder high.

these red sox/yankee games are just brutal - a regulation 9 inning game that featured a total of 6 runs took 4 hours and 21 minutes to complete tonight. for comparison's sake, the regulation 9 inning game between the royals/tigers featured a total of 19 runs and took 3 hours and 17 minutes to complete
