Yah that is crazy and the Beltran deal isn't really paying off.

No kidding. Exactly why I didn't want Atlanta to get him. Goes on the DL 4 days later.

Joe Smith went May 8 till July 17
Sergio Romo is currently June 29 ----- (on DL). Romo has only given up 2 hits in this span! Goodness. Granted he often goes .1 or .2 innings, but stilllll!

Andruw Jones just hit a 3-1 fastball off the facing of the THIRD deck in LCF at Target Field in Minnesota....I'm guessing 480....but am not sure how you can accurately measure it...maybe the longest I've seen all year. The Yankees reaction in the dugout was of complete amazement to where that ball went.

Lol...ESPN just said the HR was 423 ft....that might be the worst HR distance estimate of all-time.

I'm sure the Yankees dugout would be going apeshit bazerk over a 423 ft HT.

Definitely think the Phillies and Braves made the best move. Will Atlanta have Bourn for multiple years?

He has one more arbitration year so next year would be it unless they sign him long term.

Its amazing... I know he only plays a few times a week, but in doing so can look absolutely horrible @ the plate, then he turns around and hits a majestic blast like that

Von Hayes was an excellent outfielder.

Chill Tiger.....your not blowing a 7 1/2 game lead with Halladay and Lee going every 5 games.

Doc struggles to get through the first inning again. Allowed 2 runs on 4 hits. Leadoff hitters in the first inning are something like 12-25 with a couple of walks.

Hopefully he settles down and bats come alive.

Need to be extra careful....don't play him till he's 100%....and then maybe keep him out on rainy days....he is a must have in the playoffs....but not to get to the playoffs.

Granderson an inside the park HR on flat out hustle....looked like a HR but he busted ass from the get go and off the top of the high RF fence and it felt like a triple if he wasn't posing....but he made it all the way home.
