That's under the assumption that quality of player, amounts of players are equal. The south has more talent so it can support the larger amount of top 25 schools. Plus one article I read discussed the migration of people leaving Ohio may impact the quality of sports. Lower amounts of kids in Ohio means less homegrown talent for the Bucks. Look at the migration map below and click around Ohio. If this keeps up, tell me they'll have an advantage.
