Satch has stated before, that UNLESS OSU wins the NCAA, that Jared will be back. IF OSU wins, he said all bets are off. But we have heard talk like this often. Things change real quick when the money is flashed as a top 5 pick. I'll believe it when I see him walk onto the court for the first game next year.

Now sure what the LMAO is for. I was at the game and OSU could have easily shot even more as the officiating wasn't great. OSU was just more aggressive than MSU. Add in the fact that OSU leads the country in least amount of fouls...and that stat isn't so surprising.

This team is way to sloppy, turn it over way too many times and don't have the usual MSU composure of past MSU teams. As I said prior to this game, u don't just flip a switch and turn good this late in the season.

lol, no way would I make that bet. I was kind of being facetious, because it seems that the way things are going, it would be just like Izzo to sneak in and then make a run.

The Lmao is that MSU scored most of their points in the paint, very few jumpshots and still got THAT big of a differential in FT shooting? Kinda suspect

Sully just isn't NBA ready, IMO. Definitely needs to develop more post moves. Maybe we can get lucky. Win the NCAA AND have Sully come back.

Hey, I wouldn't put it past them to get in. But I wouldn't bet on it with the looks of this team. They have some talent, no question. But they just don't have the "it" factor as his other teams have had.

OSU's interior defense was so bad that the Spartans shot many uncontested layups and dunks. The Spartans did not dribble penetrate, which is where many fouls are called.

And if you watched the game, many of those points in the paint were pretty uncontested really. Believe me, and I am not being bias, the officiating favored MSU. Sully was getting the usual shit beat out of him and didn't get any calls. Buford got wacked on the arm late in game on a jumper, no call and Craft got drilled on his steal going to the basket, no call then Diebler got rebound and fouled. There were not many questionable calls the other way. Matta was as pissed as I have seen him all year at the officials.

I suppose. Just kinda rare to see the differential that big, when the team who attempted 17 3 pointers and many more jumpers is the team with the huge FT advantage

Izzo lost them. Lost Allen, the Lucious. Then they kind of became an anemic team on and off the court. Summers basically being benched tonight. This team is just not there.

Matta mentioned this after the game about his disapointment in the post defense. He said its somethign they are going to work on. But mentioned that this is the first time in a long while that they played a team that went at them in the paint like MSU did. Definately need some work in that area.

Yes lots of the points were uncontested. They certainly let them play for a lot of the game, and lots of banging in the paint either way. OSU must of racked up most of those Fts in the bonus

True. But its not like OSU was settling for jumpers. Most of the perimeter guys, including Diebler were driving to the hoop when they could. It was good to see OSU being aggressive doing this and getting to the FT line instead of settling for jumpers. They were in the bonus and double bonus very early in both halves.

It's because most of MSU's points in the paint there wasn't an OSU player close enough to foul.

He'll be a top 5 pick whenever he decides to leave school so it's really just up to him.

My roommates and I got a good kick out of an MSU player getting fouled with 38 seconds left in the game and they still weren't in the bonus lol

Matta coaches NOT to foul more than any coach in the country. Players that foul in practice pay for it.

Good win for the Bucks. MSU played as well as they could have, and OSU was still able to pull it out by double digits. Buford is really starting to carry this team.

Seriously not sure what the big deal is here. As mentioned, OSU led the nation last year, and I believe are tops again this in least amount of fouls committed on the season. Matta has stressed that he preaches/teaches his team NOT to foul. And this with Sullinger on the bench for the last 10 min of the first half with a CHEAP 2nd foul call on him. And again, being at the game..OSU could have/should have shot even more fouls.

Since half of the OSU players that see playing time hadn't experienced a game after a loss, this was an especially good win. They beat a well coached MSU team that is backed into a corner, fighting for it's tournament-eligible life...and Will Buford (Toledo born and bred) is a MAN!!!

Good win for sure. Id just like to see more intensity for 40 minutes. We cant be getting out rebounded by 10 and allow over 50% shooting and still keep winning.
