Disclaimer: If you were raised in pennsylvania and cheer for the eagles or steelers, or raised in new york and cheer for the spankees, etc....you have a pass.
But you stipid mother fuckers who have lived in Ohio your whole life, and cheer for the Steelers, Lakers, Celtics, Yankees, Red Sox, etc. you're nothing but punk bitches to me.
Have a nice day.
First, let me say that as a Pittsburgh fan in every pro sport, Capone/Modell is an ass and like other Pittsburgh fans on here, he doesn't represent me and I hate the fact we get lumped in with him.
Next, regarding the above post. Last I checked, they weren't called the Ohio Browns, or the Ohio Indians, or the Ohio Cavaliers. They are the CLEVELAND Browns. I don't live in Cleveland therefore they don't represent me. If they were the "Ohio Browns", then
maybe these pointless and assinine arguments about living on the Ohio side of the border would have merit.
Using your weak "living inside the border" argument, since they are the CLEVELAND Browns, if you don't live inside the border of the City of Cleveland, then you are a bandwagoner (even if you live in the suburbs). Plain and simple.
You aren't a CLEVELANDER.
If you want to use the "I live in the suburbs of Cleveland (therefore NOT a Clevelander) so it's the closest pro team to me", then I'll use the same argument that "I can get to Pittsburgh quicker than I can get to Cleveland. It's the closest pro team to me."
