Bob Arnzen, boys basketball coach at Delphos St. John's from 1951-1993, passed away today (February 2). Coach Arnzen compiled a record of 676-291 in his 43 season at DSJ and won a state title in 1983. He is survived by wife Alice and daughters Jeanne, Elaine and Maria and sons Jim and Ted.

Rest in Peace Coach.

Sad day for those who knew "Coach". He was an amazing man. A better person than he was coach...which says quite a bit if you have any idea about his coaching. He touched everybody he ever came across. Maybe the most respected person I have ever known. As you go through life, you come across FEW if ANY great people IMO....Coach Arnzen was just that....a great person. RIP Coach.
