To me Yuengling is better than Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light, and other beers of that nature. It's not the best beer in the world but I do enjoy it especially when I drink heavily.

Having some Poleeko Gold tonight followed by a few Two Hearted Ales. Two Hearted is always awesome, but I forgot what a great Pale Ale Poleeko Gold was.

This.

Yuengling is by no means fantastic but at the price point it holds an edge on the others. And I think it's not an adjunct which gives it another step up in my mind as a brewer.

Yuengling isn't even in the same beer category as Bud Light and Miller and Coors. Yuengling is an amber lager and the others are american pilsners. If you can't taste the difference between the two you may need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to beer tasting.

Feel like I drink the same stuff over and over so I'm trying to drink more styles I don't have too often. Picked up some Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and Green Flash Rayon Vert. The Weihenstephaner is very good and I'm glad I finally picked it up because I've been meaning to for a long time just never did; will most likely be drinking more in the summer.

2 Budweisers after work. Then a six pack of raging bitch, followed up by a Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout.

Have to get up at 5 to coach a lacrosse tournament.

Starting tonight with a Prima Pils. Best. Pilsner. Ever. (IMHO) Don't know where I'll go from there. Maybe bust into the DORIS.

Out to the local hole in the wall with some old friends.

Elliot Ness, Burning River, and Dortmunder tonight. Could be worse.

Poleeko Gold. It is on the opposite spectrum of SN. Maybe Rivertown's Hop Bomber. Nice local beer. FYI Rivertown's tasting room is open on the weekends. It's down in Lockland.

Edit: In fact I'm having a Poleeko Gold now. Very flavorful, but low in hops. The Wife is having a Rivertown Blue Berry Lager.

Anyone know of any interesting brews I should try in Hawaii next week? I figure I'll try a few coconut porters.

I wonder if you can get anything from Alaska Brewing there. They are supposed to have an awesome porter. I'll have to double check for it when I go to Colorado late this month. Didn't see it last time I was there.

Just had the Lord Chesterfield Ale. For an ale it was pretty skunky like a lager. Not sure of I would buy it again.

Now for something better, Dirty Bastard. Ahh that's more like it.

I've wondered how good Magic Hat was when searching for a new beer to try.

Had a couple Thirsty Dog Whippet Wheats this afternoon. Been awhile since I felt like a "refreshing" beer, but that really hit the spot today.

Had a Brooklyn Lager tonight. I'm not a huge lager guy, but I've had plenty worse lagers than that. It was honestly pretty tasty. More bitter than a normal lager.

Where are you going? I can give you some tips. I've been twice in the past year and a half.
