I might try it again if I can get another bottle, I think the fact that I drank it right after 2 Nugget Nectars could have made a difference too. But it wasn't that the spices were too overpowering, I mostly think they didn't go together well. Was like a really minty brown ale.

Have yet to have a Stone beer that I don't love. I will have to try the combo that you mentioned earlier to see if I have the same experience. I'm becoming obsessed with Stone Brewery. Its easily my favorite at the moment. Double Bastard is the GOAT beer.

Went to Market Garden Brewery, GL Brew Pub, and Bar Cento/Bier Market last night. Was a good time.

Had a Victory Hop Devil on tap at dinner. Love that IPA.

Was at BJ's earlier. Had a Rivertown Hop Baron on tap. I will say it is better on tap than in the bottle.

Now sitting at Gordo's pub. Had a Founders Centennial. Now another Rivertown beer, the Roebling Imperial Porter. I really like this porter. Nice vanilla and coffee flavor to it. Might just have to have another then go buy a sixer of it.

We like the Rivertown Porter. Wife got that last night when I got the shitty IPA. She didn't hate the IPA so we ended up switching.

Just watched Beerfest. Interesting and sophomoric. Lots of naked cans.

Aren't they all...

On my second Nugget now. After having another Roebling and a Blithering Idiot. Might be more carnage later...or maybe not.

I haven't had the Moerlein IPA, but I've had you lover and I stand beside my statement. She only loves you because of the money you make off this site...just trying to help.

Okay now maybe it is time for a warm Hopslam.

Rockmill Trip was pretty good. Not as good as some other takes but I'd drink it again plus the brewery is 10mins away.

Picked up a bottle of Jolly Pumpkin Weizen Bam a bit ago. Have it in the fridge now and looking forward to drinking it tonight!

I looked at that beer on Sunday, couldn't bring myself to drop $12.99 on it though.

Drinking the Weizen Bam now, easily the best new beer I've had in a while. This will be an awesome beer to drink in a couple months when its hot out.

I guess I'm lucky, paid $9.99, although some are higher. Most JP beers are worth the price though.

I feel like Sierra Nevada and Dogfish Head are the go-to beers when all else fails since they can be found almost everywhere. Magic Hat is found almost everywhere too, but their beers are just so underwhelming. I don't think I've had one that I've actually genuinely liked.

I agree on magic hat, not a huge fan. They're good, but for the price you can get better beers.

I can't wait 'til Thursday. NCAA tourney and beers. I've been on this antibiotic for over a week now. Just two more days and I'll be done with it and then I'm enjoying some brews. A high of 74 degrees on Thursday too. Might go with Founders All Day IPA session ale.
