Triple Digit Cranium tonight. It's a bourbon-barrel aged stout with coffee and vanilla added. It's freaking delicious.

It was one of my favorites. I was bummed on Saturday. They had the 2013 and 2014 on tap. By the time I was able to get there, they were tapped and only had 2014 bottles left. This was one wonderful beer. Had it at the Barrel Aged Bash. I did not have work today, so (like a true alchie) I picked up a 4-pack of 10-Fiddy. 10/10... By far my favorite stout out there.

Ran through a bunch of the Millersburg brews while I was there Saturday night. My favorite was their Doc's Barrel-Aged Scotch Ale. I also really liked their Panther Hollow Vanilla Porter. The Bag's Best Red Ale and State Route 39 Stout weren't bad, but weren't my favorites. I also had the French Ridge IPA and the Major Holmes Double IPA. People told me that I needed to try the French Ridge, but Major Holmes was so much better.
I picked up a sixer of Not Your Father's Root Beer while I passed through Columbus. While I'm disappointed it's not the 10% I'm used to, it tastes just as good. I let my wife have a sip and her exact words were, "Holy fuck! This is dangerous!" I'm planning on getting some vanilla ice cream and making some big boy root beer floats this week.

I think Creme Brulee tastes like a Yankee Candle would taste. Wayyy too much flavor in a fresh bottle. Now.....age it about a year and that over-the-top vanilla flavor gets to be a bit more muted and it turns into a fantastic beer.
