Fosters "Christmas Down Under" is one of the best spiced seasonal brews around. I believe the release date is Saturday.

I'd ignore them because they are clearly trolling.ernest_t_bass;1668428 wrote:It's a beer "snob" thread. What's wrong with saying a crappy stout is crap? What would you expect if someone came on this thread touting that they love Bud Light, and Budweiser Black Crown is the best "snob" beer they had?

I like the Breckenridge Christmas ale and 21st Amendment Fireside Chat.ernest_t_bass;1668434 wrote:Outside of GLBC Christmas ale and 12 Dogs Christmas Ale, what are some other must have winter beers? I'm excited to get back on the wagon here in a couple weeks. Or is it back off the wagon.

Fireside Chat is one of my favorite canned beers (if not my favorite). I may have to try Breckenridge.justincredible;1668443 wrote:I like the Breckenridge Christmas ale and 21st Amendment Fireside Chat.

Weyerbacher Winter Ale
New Holland Cabin Fever
Bell's Winter White
Personally, I am a fan of Barleywines in the winter, too. For that, I like Lagunita's Brown Shugga.

Not a "Christmas" beer but I'm a big fan of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

I actually saw a bit of that in March in the sale cart at Total Wine. All of their X-Mas bombers were like 40-60% off, I should have pulled the trigger on some.

Had lucky bastard last night. I remember liking this a lot more back in 2012. Super hoppy, really sugary.

Had Pumking on the CEO's tab today. The sweetness and spice are less pronounced than in the past. I liked it.

I like beers to taste less like they lean on other ingredients. It's a personal taste thing.ernest_t_bass;1668989 wrote:So you noticed it too. I am opposite, though, as I prefer teh spice.
The exception might be their Creme Brulee Stout.
