Drinking it now, and not bad. Like it.

Place I went to has a Growler Club, $25 a year and half price fills on Sunday.
Those prices seem high

Picked up some West Sixth Pay It Forward (Cocoa) Porter this weekend, it was pretty damn good. Also have a co-worker bringing me in some Spotted Cow and Pie Lust from New Glarus today.

I haven't had a bad West Sixth anything. I'll have to try those soon.

Wasted $8 yesterday on the Guinness Blond. Guinness has made a great Stout for 300 yrs, YTF do they feel the need to screw up their legacy with inferior products? Guinness Black Lager sucked too.

Lemongrass. Terrible. But other than that I've liked all their stuff.

The flavor has always been so non-complex, but I mean, if you want cheap and heavy, their stout will do that.

To be fair, I've never had it on nitro. I didn't know places did that with Guinness.

I don't consider Guinness heavy at all, mostly here it from bud light drinkers. I like it good enough, and can't find a beer that has replicated the creaminess/ texture of a Guinness. Closest one I have had is probably the Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro, as well as some local Oatmeal Stout on Nitro in Montreal.

I don't consider it heavy when compared to most other stouts, but compared to other cheap beers?

Try some craft stouts. It's just like saying Bud Light is the bomb because millions of drunk Americans love the shit out of it.

Just tried Lagunitas IPA. Not bad. I seem to like most IPAs, though. The citrus was pretty evident.

I used to loathe stouts, solely bc of Guinness. They're now my favorite bc of craft.

Guinness is the fore father of all craft beers you idiot. Simply a delicious meal in a bottle.

It's a beer "snob" thread. What's wrong with saying a crappy stout is crap? What would you expect if someone came on this thread touting that they love Bud Light, and Budweiser Black Crown is the best "snob" beer they had?

I love craft stouts. Love a good imperial craft stout, as well as porters. Wish that I could get GLBC Maple Porter outside their brewery.

Outside of GLBC Christmas ale and 12 Dogs Christmas Ale, what are some other must have winter beers? I'm excited to get back on the wagon here in a couple weeks. Or is it back off the wagon.
