Big fan of shut-down ale. If you liked that you should look for brown shugga by lauganitas!

My experience with growlers is only this. Buy one and drink it to make sure you like it and stay away from stoughts. They do not seem to travel well.

Really like the 90 minute IPA. Got a citrusy flavor.

How is it? I've never seen this before.

And I do like a good rye IPA. Rye of the Tiger is good stuff.

That's a VERY solid haul. If you like the citrus in the 90-Minute, I imagine you'll like the Raging Bitch, too.

As far as porters go, Founders is up by the top.

A Caribbean-Style IPA? I've never heard of such a thing. What's it like?

I have never heard of a Caribbean-Style IPA either. I was looking for some last week. But all I found at the beaches were lagers and pilsners. All of them that I tried were pretty average. They all had a strong lager flavor to start and then finished really clean.

Barbados - Caribbean Lager and Deputy (both by Banks Breweries in Barbados)
St. Lucia - Piton
Antigua - Wadadli (from Antigua Brewery)
St. Maarten - Carib Lager (brewed in Trinidad and Tobago)
St. Thomas - Elephant (from Carlsberg Brewery)

Also, a buddy of mine that does comedy in Bloomington, IL started doing videos reviewing beers. He sent me the link to the first video. Thought some on here might enjoy it.

The Caribbean Style IPA had less hop bitterness than your standard IPA and some hints of tropical/city's fruit. Pretty nice for a warm sunny day.

Anyone else collect/gather their beer caps? I don't collect for the purpose of collecting, rather they just gather in a shelf in my garage fridge. If like to count them, some day.

Yeah I have a ton of them. I also worked for a company called Crown Cork and Seal when I was in college. They made beer caps, so I have a couple buckets full from working there. Some pretty interesting ones.

I do. I just gave a huge amount of them away to a friend of mine that uses them for art. Puts designs on a table top then clear coats over them. When I can find a picture of her projects I'll post it. (I kept most of my Hopslam caps though. Why? I don't know)
