Finally had Southern Tier's Creme Brulee Stout last night.

Damn, if you couldn't make a float with that stuff!

True. It is quite different. I still have a few bottles of that stashed along with some ST Choklat, which is another you should try if you haven't already. Tastes like chocolate milk. Their Black Water Series is quite amazing.

I just think it's a little dangerous having that much Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout on tap. But I am getting ready to re-do the Condo and a bar is going to replace the dinning room area so it's possible along with a mini fridge.

Not a huge Heineken fan myself. It's been years since I drank it. I used to drink it quite a bit when I was stationed in South Korea as Bud/Miller was not available off base. This was in 87-88. You have to go with what you can get sometimes so I won't judge you for buying the Heine. (Been there done that). Enjoy as maybe you can get NC next time.
Yeah it does the trick when i feel like a beer but don't feel like opening the good stuff. It's dangerous, i poured 5 pints last night didn't even notice since i don't have to pop a bottle ha

It's in my basement on top of my mini fridge by the tv - not a far walk to the tap. Seriously didn't notice until i stopped to think how many i had put down.

Grabbed 2 bottles of Palate Wrecker @ $3.75/bottle. Dear Bocktown, fuck you and your crazy prices.

Also picked up some more Lake Erie Monster, Founders Dirty Bastard, Flying Dog Wildeman Farmhouse IPA and ST 2XIPA. Cheers.

The owner at one of the beer shops I go to sent me a txt telling me he got some Goose Island Lolita and Juliet, $16 a bottle! Sucks not having money right now, I can barely pay that much for a 6 pack so forget about a bomber.

That is a bummer. Having a 2 hearted ale right now. Very drinkable IPA.

Wish I would have saved my bottle of Old Numskull, I decided I'm going to drink my 2010 Anchor Old Foghorn and 2011 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot tonight. Would be nice to have a 3rd barleywine just to compare them all (though I'd most likely end up shitfaced). I was trying to save the Bigfoot for at least a couple more years to do a vertical tasting but it just sounds really good now.

Finally cracked open a bottle of the Founders KBS since my wife and I are celebrating our 4-year anniversary today. Wow. Amazing brew. Lived up to the hype.

Either way, that's half what Bocktown was charging. $3.75-$3.99 is reasonable for one bottle. $8/bottle is just crazy.

Where did you buy it? I can't find it around here, and I often travel to your area.

A 4-pack of the Palate Wrecker was $13.99 so I would have saved a little per bottle buying them that way but I wanted to try some other beers and didn't want to spend as much overall.

Piccolo's is pretty good, thanks for that tip. I think Bassets in Catawba is better. I have found the best selection at Anderson's in Maumee.

No problem. I would like to check out Bassets and Andersons but they would both be a little far for me. I may take the plunge and grab a 10 dollar bottle today. Ha

Check out Marino's Beverage Depot, makes Anderson's look like nothing. Only problem is you have to be careful with the freshness of some of the beers because they have so much so you need to check dates. That's where I go about 75% of the time.

Will do, I think you told me about it before. It is on Monroe near Mancy's right?

It's on Monroe right off the Alexis exit, so not far from Mancy's Italian.

I used to live in Toledo a while back, so I might be off here, is it in the plaza where the buckeye wolverine shop is in?
