I will say that as much as I like that craft beer is becoming popular, it kind of sucks too. A few years ago I could walk out of most beer stores around here with a case of Hopslam no problem, but yesterday the store I buy it from has a 1 six pack limit and was selling it from behind the counter.
I tend to concur. I was just talking to a friend about the same thing. I remember a few years ago no one would pay $18.00 for a sixer of 'The Slam'. A few years back The Wife was shopping with her friend and he dared her to buy a case of Hopslam. There was a crowd around it and everyone was talking about the price of it. She walked forward, grabbed a case, then the crowd applauded. I should note Hopslam is one of her favorite beers so no dare was needed.
On the other hand I have met some great people both online and at different events due to craft beer. It's nice that it is more of a movement. There is so much fellowship, cooperation, and collaboration in the craft beer breweries that I've never seen in any industry. That is a great thing and promotes happiness and good beer.
