Still solid!said_aouita;1451225 wrote:oops. That was a pic' from the internet. Didn't notice the #. I had a 11.
I still haven't seen it at the Jungle, but want to buy it for the same reason...Fuck Magic Hat. I did notice there wasn't a lot of 'that' brewery on the shelf. I don't think they are selling as good as they did before the big sell out.sherm03;1451729 wrote:Picked up a sixer of West Sixth IPA today because...Fuck Magic Hat!
It's actually pretty good. Will buy again.
I passed on getting a Growler of LEM. Tasted it on tap there 2 different times and wasn't feeling it. Even the guys pouring said it was different this year.killer_ewok;1451737 wrote:Lake Erie Monster and SN Hoptimum today.
I've had that before. It's okay, but I prefer Rivertown Blueberry Lager. Depending on where you live you might not be able to find it. I'm lucky enough to have the Brewery less than 15 minutes away and they have it at the Growler station at Jungle Jim's about 5 minutes from me. Might be my next Growler fill as it has been a while since I had it.jpake1;1452092 wrote:I just had a really weird beer-- Wild Blue Blueberry Lager. They had 6pks for $5.99 and it's 8%abv, so I said why not. I'm pretty sure it's an adult juice box; nothing like any fruit beer I've ever had. However, it's the fiances favorite beer now, so that kinda tells you everything you need to know about it.
Been intrigued by this, I know they got some backlash on this for it being ~$15 bomber and 7-8%. Not sure what I'm going to crack tonight but on lunch I walked by a place that Arctic Devil (a Barrel Aged Barleywine from Alaska) Okie from Prairie Ales (BA Imperial Brown) that I picked up.Curly J;1452323 wrote:I lied. Had some Wine tonight with dinner. Currently having some Rhizing Bines. I am very much liking this DIPA. Nice balance. Will buy again.
I guess it was pricey. To tell you the truth I never paid attention to what the price was. I'm one of those guys that will drop the cash if I want it. That is why I am poor.Commander of Awesome;1452632 wrote:Been intrigued by this, I know they got some backlash on this for it being ~$15 bomber and 7-8%. Prob wont want to wait for one of those to chill when I get home though.
I'd guess I am a brewbie/comparer.Curly J;1452631 wrote:http://literatureandlibation.com/2013/05/23/the-10-types-of-craft-beer-drinkers/
This is, indeed, true.Devils Advocate;1453570 wrote:Good times are possible, even with bad beer.
