Wow. Yeah, that's low for a stout, or at least any stout I've had recently. When I hear "creamy," I normally think it's probably appropriately thick. Gonna have to find a place that carries it.

Bar here in DC going to have KBS on tap starting at 4. I am sure it will be gone before 6.

Was in Denver last week and stopped in at Wynkoop, Breckenridge, Rock Bottom and the Great Divide. The tap House at the Great Divide was crowded due to the USA Soccer match in Denver. Had their Hercules double IPA and Heyday. Took the tour and was interesting.

Just read where Jungle Jim's has KBS. $5.00 a bottle/12oz and 1 per person.

Hope I can make it there tomorrow.

Yep. I still might be able to get a lot this year or zero depending when I make it there. I still have 6 of the 12 bottles I got last year.

I am in good with the Beer and Wine Manager there, so we'll see what happens.

Very jealous. I've legit only come across One 4 pk in 3 yrs of hunting it while living on the east coast. Easier to find on tap (Once but didn't have to go to the bar for 3 yrs before they'd sell me one). Really want some to sit on and share with West Coast friends.

Hoping Firestone Walker's Parabola can fill some of the gap.

It would probably be beer for sticks with us. However I have a HUGE chest cold right now and it's hard to breathe...aka known as ETB Syndrome. Right now a cigar doesn't even sound good. I know. Blasphemy!!!

I would be game for that.

As for blasphemy, nah. Saying no to a good smoke when you couldn't fully enjoy the nuances is actually probably good etiquette (not that I'd always listen to it, but you know).

I've done it a couple of times, including with a member on here. It can be a bit pricey (Think it was around $18 to send a decent sized box) but fun to get a box of beers you've wanted to try. I'm in if interested.

True. I'm just hoping this doesn't blow into a full case of 'P-new-monia'. I'm an everyday smoker of those Clove Flavored Filter Cigars called Djarum. Can't really have a regular cigarette anymore as they taste like burning paper...thanks to cigars.

Just hoping I can hang this out. It's been going on since Friday night.

KBS is pretty hard. Sells out fast. CBS was produced once few years ago. Def can't find it in stores, but its obtainable through trades though probably pretty difficult. From what I've heard, at this point the maple has faded significantly.

Went to an area brew/wine store tonight after work. I knew they had gotten some KBS in on Monday but couldn't get over til today. I walk in and start some small talk with the owner then proceed to ask him if they have any left. He tells me they are out and they only got 5 4packs and to get one bottle you had to buy a six pack of any other Founders. So feeling like I just had been kicked in the junk, I start grabbing some Palate Wrecker and Fat Heads Oompa Loompa, when this guy walks in and tells the owner he doesn't want his two KBS they had saved for him!!! SCORE!!! The owners looks over to me and I said Their mine now!!! So I grabbed to six packs of Founders Session IPA and am now the proud owner of two bottles of KBS!! I feel like Curly now!!! :)

Oh and on a side note, I have a friend in Florida that sends me Zombie Killer in the mail and it's pretty cheap to ship, he puts the bottles in bottle wrap sleeves and a ton of styrofoam peauts. Works out great.

Got my KBS tonight after getting out of Urgent Care. They only let me have one bottle. The Wife is going there tomorrow to get her's. I wasn't able to get a whole 4 pack last year until everything died down about it, which was about a week after it was released. Might be stuck with only 2 this year, but that is better than none.

Tried the Southern Tier Live tonight. I love this one. Bottle conditioned Pale Ale with 4 types of hops and 4 types of malts. Very hoppy Pale Ale.
