Not exactly German Wheat, more USA crafts, but I really like Steven Point Summer, Buckeye Blvd Unfiltered, and Thirsty Dog Whippet. Best wheat ever was a Belgian Wheat at the Mackinaw City BC.

Seems to be most of my friends views on them. Would Delirium Tremens be considered a hefeweizen?

The problem with a lot of beers is that many could easily fall into multiple categories. Plenty are easy to identify, but quite a few times it's all a matter of what the brewer labels it.

I went in fully expecting to pick up a bomber of Arrogant Bastard (had a taste for it) audibled ended up leaving with a Green Flash Barleywine instead. Anyone try this? Green Flash is top 3 in my book and looking forward to trying it.

I've been known to bring my own 6er's to my bro-in-laws house along with some Pilsner glasses. All that is there is Miller Lite. Plus he doesn't need to support my habit as his friends usually show up without beers and drink his. I've even been known to share mine. Let them sample it and see what they think. You have to remember he and his friends are hicks.

Now that I think about it I brought quite a few cold beers to Justin's house last year. What wasn't drank was left there for him. I don't think he complained.
What I bolded above makes it different. It's cool if you bring them to share.

I refuse to acknowledge Lambics. I feel like Lambics are to beer what wine coolers are to liquor.

Tried it just recently. This relative I'm speaking ill of actually brought it to a family event, and I asked to try it out.

De-fluggin'-licious.

The big bottle is a Weyerbacher Tiny. I'll let OTrap go on about that as he's had it quite a few times.

The small one is an Avery Mephistopeles' Stout. 16.8% ABV of awesomeness. This might be the best Stout I've ever had. I believe this one was from batch #1.

Let me know how this is. I've been craving Barleywines lately and Green Flash makes awesome beers so I might have to pick this up.
